Reverence & Ruin
Reverence & Ruin is about the fragility of relationships and ideas and how significant they are. In reverence, often showcasing how beautiful and sacred something can be. In ruin, there is sometimes tragedy, but mostly transformation. Ruin isn’t an end. There is opportunity for reflection, experience, and renewal in both.
A Never At Peace Tale
Black. The weight of all the thoughts words couldn’t hold.
Pink…Hope. That’s beautifully dressed in delicate fate.
Black questions, “Who are YOU when no one sees you?”
Pink wonders, “What if LOVE is still enough?”
Black, bold with pain. Pink, bold with grace.
WAR and PEACE is what we all will face.
But Black is quiet between heart beats.
Each night becomes full of honest grief.
Black invites reflection on what’s lost and asks,
“What do I obscure to reveal your focus?”
White responds,
“Perhaps yourself. Let me show you what needs to be seen.”
Black’s thoughts unravel. A presence? A void?
Black looks over at the white light.
“Is this real? You define me, but escape me?”
The white light vibrates and responds.
“Together, we make everything real. Shadow…and shine.”
The white light continues,
“The world may run from you, but I will bring them back.”
Black responds, “We have many stories to shape.”
